Real learning. Not chaotic group classes

Many puppy classes feel overwhelming.

Too many dogs.

Too much noise.

Too little guidance.

You spend half the session trying to keep your dog focused, and the other half waiting your turn.

But early training should feel calm and clear — not rushed or confusing.

James & Frankie puppy classes are deliberately kept small so each dog has the space to learn properly and each owner has the guidance they need to build confidence.

Across four structured sessions, you and your dog develop real-life foundations that carry into everyday situations.

These include:

focus around distractions

loose lead walking foundations

recall development

calm engagement with you

clear communication between you and your dog

Each session builds on the last. Nothing is random. Nothing is rushed.

Because when learning stays below your dog’s stress threshold, progress becomes natural and consistent.

If a session is missed, you’re supported with video guidance so you can stay aligned with the programme and continue moving forward.

This isn’t about teaching obedience in a training hall.

It’s about building habits that last once you leave it.

“Puppy training isn’t about getting things perfect. It’s about building confidence early so good habits become natural.”
